The primary purpose of the Durham First magazine is to inform the Alumni Community of the good work that goes on at Durham University. Empowering former students to become advocates of its work, the magazine supports the University in its development. Our challenge was to evolve the magazine as a sales tool, in terms of design look and feel, but also in terms of assistance on the overall approach, its efficacy and recommendations as to the most effective way of communicating key messages to the Alumni Community.
