Highlands and Island Airports Ltd (HIAL) is a private limited company, wholly owned by Scottish Ministers, and responsible for the management and operation of 11 airports. The group therefore has a diverse stakeholder base, and a reporting structure under constant scrutiny. Crombie were tasked with creating a ‘people focused approach’, while highlighting issues affecting the industry. We created the tagline: “Local Access – Global Outlook”, which was underpinned with a photographic journey of ‘a year in the life’ of airports. The focus naturally migrates between the passengers, employees and local businesses, which as a direct result of HIAL services, continue to flourish both locally and internationally.
