The Edinburgh design agency took on the design of this edition having seen the previous issue named Magazine of the Year at the Communicators in Business Northern Region Awards.
Suzanne Wood, account director at Crombie, explained: “Our challenge was to evolve the magazine as a sales tool, in terms of design look and feel, but also in terms of assistance on the overall approach, its efficacy and recommendations as to the most effective way of communicating key messages to the Alumni Community.”
Rebecca Grundy, Durham University’s Publications and Internal Communications Officer, commented: “It’s such a prolific document for the University in terms of readership with a print run that increases with each issue from an initial 83,500 copies.”
